Well I am back from a wonderful spring break in my homeland, Minnesota. Dear family, and loved ones. My kind of people. Snow in April. Deer in the backyard. Old Sears sewing machines. Good food and even better company.
I thought these vintage travel posters would be a great add to this post. I love the one below... that pretty much sums up a lot of girls I know... but with Minnesota girls they just had to add the boat part. Which has never been that important to me but maybe some girls have that interest.
I don't remember seeing any Indians at Lake Calhoun but hey vintage
tourism at its best. I love uptown and got to spend a big chunk there, eating Thai, shopping at hippie stores and over priced trendy stores. Sipping on coffee, and
munching on peanut butter cookies.
Despite the snow storm in April the trip was a huge success and I felt that I got to spend time with everyone that I wanted to. Seeing college friends, new babies, and family was a big part of this trip and lots of driving too!
